The IASST International Meeting and Conference was hosted by Ceronav Training Center from May 24 through May 28, 2022. It was a great 5 day useful and fruitful time during the conference that gathered together representatives from all parts of the world in Constanta, Romania.

During the IASST meeting, board members discussed the development of the organization of IASST. Participants shared their experiences in the field of safety and survival, discussed the future developments of IASST and set plans for cooperative projects.

The main topic of the seminar was safety in navigation. The latest trends in safety in navigation as well as topics such as virtual reality technologies for safety and survival training were discussed.

Fantastic Romania and the event organizers, Ceronav, did their best to exceed all possible positive expectations. The participants were completely captivated by the mesmerizing beauty of the place and the warmth of the welcome program. The beauty of the city and the region, wonderful nature, incredibly beautiful buildings, and wonderful cuisine—all this made the meeting even more unforgettable. During these days, there was an opportunity to visit Dracula's Castle in Transylvania, as well as many other historical sites.
